5 Things Learned about LoganLerman

Typically Twitter-shy Logan Lerman (he’s only tweeted 123 times in over a year) seems to have caught the Twitter bug just in time for the release of his new movie “The Perks of Being a Wallflower," which hits theaters September 21.

Now we’re not psychics, but we are pretty Twitter savvy and have been pleasantly surprised by Logan's recent Twitter activity. Here are five things we've learned about Logan from his tweets.

1) He loves music. Logan is always tweeting about going to shows or concerts and the latest music that he is listening to. According to some recent commentary, he saw The Black Keys live this summer and also supported some local Los Angeles musicians.

2) He plays guitar. Considering Logan’s love of music, we’re not too surprised that he also plays it, in addition to listening to it. Case in point this little gem of an Instagram photo that features Logan and a friend jamming.

3) He’s a good brother. Logan recently sent out a message of support for his sister’s jewelry line, Stella and Bow and asked friends and fans to check out her artistry. How sweet!

4) He’s adventurous and likes to travel! Logan spent time this summer filming “Noah” in Iceland, which also stars his fellow “Perks” castmate Emma Watson. Luckily, he had somefree time to take a break from shooting the movie and explore the country with his cast mates!

5) He has a sense of humor. While Logan often takes on serious roles, he still has a comedic side! Case in point, this photo of his “biggest fan.”

Charlie's last letter

Here we go :

I don’t know if I will have the time to write any more letters, because I might be too busy trying to participate.
So, if this does end up being the last letter, I just want you to know that I was in a bad place before I started high school, and you helped me.
Even if you didn’t know what I was talking about, or know someone who’s gone through it, you made me not feel alone.
Because I know there are people who say all these things don’t happen. And there are people who forget what it’s like to be sixteen when they turn seventeen.
I know these will all be stories some day, and our pictures will become old photographs. We all become somebody’s mom or dad.
But right now, these moments are not stories. This is happening.
I am here, and I am looking at her. And she is so beautiful.
I can see it.
This one moment when you know you’re not a sad story.
You are alive.
And you stand up and see the lights on the buildings and everything that makes you wonder.
And you’re listening to that song, and that drive with the people who you love most in this world.
And in this moment, I swear, we are infinite.

New still from The Perks

New still from The Perks

Logan Lerman for Novel Novice

Interviewer: So how did Charlie and the narrative arc in the movie differ from the books, since it’s a different form?

Logan Lerman: Oh, yeah. They definitely had to trim out some of the details. Make it a little bit neater for the movie. Just to fit everything into a film. But, you know, Steve Chbosky, he wrote the novel, wrote the script, is directing it. So it’s very true to the book and I think the fans of the book are going to be really happy with what Steve has created.
